This custom Fireside Company set includes the following:
-2.7” Custom “Edison” Knife with a hollow grind – 154cm steel, jigged C-Tek handles. Overall length is approximately 6″ from tip to end of lanyard hole. Designed to remain pocketable, provide a very useable blade length, and allow for a nice grip, especially with a lanyard installed.
-“F Balm” sealant (food safe, works great on handles, blades, and natural cutting surfaces)
-Maker Pencil
The Forty Seven Series was inspired by items from the past using modern materials and methods. These knives feature classic 154cm stainless steel with a working finish perfect for daily tasks at home or in the field. The finish can be touched up easily with an abrasive pad. When we heat treat, we aim for a nice balance between hardness and durability. This steel maintains an edge without being overly difficult to sharpen.
